Milton Emergency Management is led by Emergency Management Director Nicholas Marique. Emergency Management is responsible for the planning of both natural and man made disasters in the Town of Milton. In the Event of a major event within the Town of Milton it is the Emergency Management Directors responsibility to coordinate the efforts of all town agencies for an effective mitigation of the event. The Emergency Management Director is the Town's liaison to New Hampshire Homeland Security and Emergency Management . Through NHHSEM Milton has access to needed resources and information the town would otherwise not have access to. Additionally Milton Emergency Management is responsible for coordination of FEMA Grants including preparedness and recovery grants.
