Devon joined the Milton Fire Department in 2001 as an exploer. After Graduating from Farmington High School in 2002, he completed an Electrical Apprentice Program and obtained a Journeyman’s Electrical license. During his time working as an electrician he continued his fire training and began moving up the ranks with the Milton Fire Department. Devon was promoted to Lieutenant in 2005 and to Captain in 2006. In June of 2009 he was hired as a full-time Firefighter at Seabrook Station Nuclear Power Plant, where he was responsible for inspections, training and operations of the plants fire protection program. In October of 2009 Devon was promoted to his current position of Assistant Fire Chief. In 2014 he left the power plant and began working as a full time firefighter in the City of Rochester where he is currently employed. In July of 2017 Devon was sworn in as a part time police officer with the Milton Police Department where he will eventually be working the police department's marine division and an occasional patrol shift.
As the Assistant Fire Chief he is responsible for the Fire Prevention and Inspection Division, EMS billing, shift scheduling, and managing certain aspects of the budget, he routinely cover duty shifts and manages incident scenes. Devon also serves as the 911 program coordinator for the Town of Milton and the Assistant Emergency Management Director. He is currently scheduled to work 22 hours each week at the department.
