Jarrod Wheeler

Position(s): Deputy Chief/Paramedic

I joined the Milton Fire Department in 2006. Soon after joining I obtained a Certificate in Fire Science from Lakes Region Community College. After College I attended recruit school at the New Hampshire Fire Academy obtaining FFI FFII and Career Firefighter. In 2009, I obtained my EMT certification and began seeking a career in the fire service. In June of 2011 I was hired as a full time firefighter in the City of Rochester where I am currently employed as a Fire Lieutenant. In 2015 I became Milton's first Paramedic. I also work several shifts per week for Milton Fire-Rescue.

I have two young boys, Parker and Cohen. During my off time I enjoy spending time with my family.

I am responsible for the departments EMS Operations and act as the departments safety officer. I am also a certified state fire instructor and enjoy teaching the newer members.
