I joined the Milton Fire department in 1998 as an entry level candidate with no fire service background. At the time I was employed as plumbing apprentice working full time in the field. I own and operate Milton Mills Mechanical, a local plumbing and heating business in town. As a volunteer fireman I was able to complete Fire 1 training and a first responder medical program. My plumbing career helped me gain the title of engineer as I was well versed in truck operations and water supply. During my time with the fire department I have gone on to acquire a master plumber license in NH and ME as well as a certified gas technician. I hold several other certificates in my professional career. I was promoted to fire captain around 2005 with time served to uphold the duties of operating station 2 located in Milton Mills which I am still serving.
I have been married to my wife Terri since 2001 and have 2 daughters. Brittany, born May 10th 1994 that will be enrolled in an EMT class in 2014. Kimberly, born May 28th 2002 that is in 6th grade. I moved to Milton Mills in 1994 and decided to call this town home. I enjoy going to my camp in Maine and spending time with close friends. I enjoy boating in the lakes around us and taking the kids wherever I may go.
I am currently responsible for the operations at station 2 in the Mills and Fire Company 1. It is my duty to make sure my equipment and fire company personnel are in good working order. I try to keep up with public relations in the Mills and communicate to the chief. I also help with the Milton Public Safety Association as much as possible so we can provide ourselves to the community.
